The <br /> <br />annuatly adjusted 5-year average since 1982 does not <br />indicate any expansion beyond 57,762 acre-feet due to a <br /> <br />serie~ of wet years and/or maintenance to the system. <br /> <br /> <br />Projeqtions were provided by the Colorado Water <br /> <br /> <br />Conse~vation Board. <br /> <br />Two FO'r.ks Project was modelled at 46,900 AF of average <br />annua~ depletions to the Colorado River Basin and Williams <br />Fork Extension Project modelled at 7,500 AF of average <br /> <br />annua~ depletions to the Colorado River Basin. <br /> <br />c. Homestake Expansion <br /> <br />Phase I of the Homestake Project diverts from the <br />headwa~ers of the Eagle River to the Arkansas River and <br />South Platte River Basins. It was completed in 1966 and <br />the fiFst diversions made to Aurora and Colorado Springs in <br />1967, Long term average annual diversions are expected to <br /> <br />average 28,000 acre feet. Diversions over the period <br />1967-1985 have averaged 26,178 acre-feet. The maximum <br /> <br />annual,diversion occurred in 1975 and was 59,870 <br />acre-f~et. Phase II of the expansion is expected to be on <br />line by 2010 and yield an additional 20,000 acre-feet <br /> <br />annual~y.
