The values may be either real additions <br /> <br />or else differences resulting from new depletion accounting <br /> <br />proce~ures, Future Colorado depletion values are provided <br /> <br />by the Colorado Water Conservation Board, the Colorado <br /> <br />River Water Conservation District, or are estimated by <br /> <br />Reclamation staff. <br /> <br />b. Denver. Expansion <br /> <br />Water for expanded Denver needs since 1965 has been met <br />in part by increased diversions from the Colorado River <br /> <br />Basin through the Moffat and Roberts Tunnels, The average <br /> <br />annual. recorded diversion through both tunnels reached a <br /> <br />high dtiring the periOd 1978-1982 of 151,230 acre-feet <br />annual~y, The combined 1965 normalized diversion as <br />definec!l in the Comprehensive Framework Study was 93,468 <br /> <br />acre-f~et, yielding an increased diversion of 57,762 acre- <br /> <br />feet. :Of this amount 4,000 acre-feet is diverted to <br /> <br />EngleWood and is not accountable here, this leaves a net <br /> <br />09228 <br /> <br />ii" ';;$. <br />
