.

.

.

,

process. This forum today is intended to provide you with the opportunity
to acquire any relevant information about the proposed rate adjustments. We
will review the salient points of the proposed adjustment of power and
transmission rates and answer questions. Please feel free to ask for an
answer to any questions that you may have concerning the proposal.

Most of you should have already received a copy of the brochure that was
sent to customers last month. We hope you have had an opportunity to read
it. If any of you did not receive a copy, you can pick up one at the door
after the forum. A copy of today's presentation will also be available at
the door when the forum is over.

A few important dates are shown here as a reminder to you: On April 30,
1982 at a customer meeting which was held in Salt Lake City, we announced
that raising the CRSP firm power rate from 7.89 to about 10 mills per
kilowatthour at 58.2% load factor was under consideration.

The public consultation and comment period began with the printing of the

October 18, 1982 Federal Register notice formally announcing the proposal to

adjust the CRSP power and transmission rates.

3
