Thls <br />lateral is the largest under the Amity Canal. serving nearly ooe.180tb <br />of the total shares. The recorder keeps a contlnuouB record of water de- <br />liveries and has facllltated oo.lcuLations of water amounts. Weeds and <br />willows were aprayed as tlme permitted. Routine repairs of ditcll rJder <br />houses. rating flumes, etc.. were don-e a.s needed. Storage was exhausted On April 12. The Reser- <br />voJr lIemalaed empty untJJ September 22, when the vaIves were closed <br />for storage. The small quantity of water lasted only until SePtember <br />25. No more water was stored DntH the gates were closed in November. <br /> <br />Once again, sportsmen'. groups are pressing tor a permanent <br />pool In this J'leservolr.
