Q0255G . t , REPORT OF COLORADO RIVER COMMISSION OF NEVADA 37 321.420 Eldorado Valley advisory group: Creation; composi- tion; tenus; vacancies; compell&ation. 1. 'l'here is hereby created the Eldorado Valley advisory group compo Red of 12 members appointed by the governor. 2. The advisory group shall be composed as follows: (a) The state senator from Clark County. (b) Oue assemblyman from Clark County. (c) One representative from eaeh of the following: (1) The board of countv commissioners of Clark County; (2) The Clark County plauning department; (3) The City of IJas Vegas; (4) The City of Henderson: and (5) The City of North Las Vegas. (d) Two representatives from Boulder City. (e) One representative of organized labor. (f) Two representatives at large. 3. With the exception of the state senator and assemblyman from Clark County, all members of the advisory group shall be appointed for 2~year terms and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor. Such members may be reappointed to succeeding terms of 2 ycars each. 4. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment by the governor for the unexpired balance of the term in accordance with subsection 2. 5. Members of the advisory gronp shall serve without compen- sation. (Added to NRS by 1957, 396) 321.430 Eldorado Valley advisory group: Orll'ani2lation. Within a reasonable time after appointment, the members of the- advisory gronp shall meet upon the call of the governor and effect an organi- zation. (Added to NRS by 1957, 396) 321.440 EldQrado Valley advisory group: Powers and duties. The Eldorado Valley advisory group shall be an advisory body to the commission and shall have only such powers and duties as may be authorized by law. The group shall advise and assist the commis- sion in connection with all phases of planning and development of Eldorado Valley and the expenditure of funds in connection there- with. (Added to NRS by 1957, 396) 321.450 Powers,of Colomdo River commission concerning devel- ,opment of Eldomdo Valley; sales and relinl}uishments of lands; advisory group industrial insurance. 1. The commission, with the advice 'of the. advis.ory group, is authorized to undertake sueh engineering and planning studies and surveys and to take such other action as may be neeessary for the development of Eldorado Valley. 2. 'l'he commission shall sell and dispose of lands in the Eldorado Valley in aceordance with plans and procedures of the eommission. 3. The commission, acting for and on behalf of the State of Nevada, may relinquish all rights, powers and privileges it may have to purchase any portion, part or pareel of the lands des.cribed in NRS 321.410. Any such relinquishment shall be made by formal resolution, shall be approved by the attorney general, and shall be forwarded to the Secretary of the Interior. 4. The commission shall provide the members of the advisory group with industrial insurance through the Nevada industrial com- mission. (Added to NRS by 1957, 396; A 1959, 490, 699; 1965, 81, 1278) g .;J
