Ccmrent: <br /> <br />P-17 Environmental Consequences <br /> <br />The title to this paragraph appears to be incorrect since the paragraph still <br />deals with errployment. <br /> <br />Response: <br /> <br />This section is enti tled <br />addresses the effects, or <br />errployment in the unit area. <br /> <br />"Environmental <br />consequences <br /> <br />Consequences" because <br />of the proposed action, <br /> <br />it <br />on <br /> <br />59. Ccmrent: <br /> <br />P-17 Geology <br /> <br />The report should state the basis for the conclusion that "The geologic <br />effects. .. are considered minimal." <br /> <br />Response: <br /> <br />As stated in the assessment, the formation is expected to accept the brine <br />under the fracture pressure. Since formation water lS already brine, no <br />effects would occur to water quality. Good barriers to migration exist above <br />and below the formation, and no change in seismic activity is anticipated. <br />For these reasons, the effects were concluded to be minimal. <br /> <br />60.
