The Committee has reviewed and accepted t~o re- <br />ports from such Subcommittee. The Subcommittee consists of Royce J. Tipton, <br />Consulting Engineer, Colorado Water Conservation Board, Chairman; Frank C. <br />Merriell, Secretary-Engineer, Colorado River I{ater Conservation District Board, <br />Grand Junction, Colorado; R. M. Gildersleeve, Chief Engine0r, Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board; C. H. Jex, Area Engineer, Bureau of ReclamQtion, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado; Ben F. Powell, Area Engineer, Bureau of ReClamation, <br />~~eblo, Colorado; and J. R. Riter, Head of Division of Hydrology, Branch of <br />Projcct Planning of the Bureau of Reclamation, Denver, Colorado. <br /> <br />;,; <br /> <br />The Policy and Review Committee was organized and held its first <br />meEting on Nov~mb~r 24, 1948. It has met on the ~verage of once every sixty <br />days since its work was started. A revi0v of this letter will indicate <br />thnt the Committee had rellched certllin tentative conclusions when the letter <br />was written. The letter wp.s tr"nsmitted to the Regional Office of the Bureau <br />of Recllllllation in order to en"ble that office to revis.; its report in keeping <br />with the views and recomnendlltions contained in the letter.
