<br /> <br />Springerville Irriiation Measure: Construction plans are <br />complete. Start of constr~ction has been delayed because of <br />the lack of RC&D construction funds. <br /> <br />CALIFORNIA: North Cal-Neva RC&D <br /> <br />Construction has been completed on the Cow Creek Critically <br />Eroding Area Measure. The Susanville River Measure Plan <br />has been approved for construction and is currently waiting <br />for funding. This plan includes streambank stabilization <br />and basic recreation facilities. Construction work will be <br />accomplished in three phases over a three-year period. <br /> <br />High Sierra RC&D <br /> <br />Construction has been completed on the Secret Ravine School <br />Critically Eroding Area Measure. Second phase construction <br />work on the Georgetown Airport Critically Eroding Area Measure <br />has been completed. <br /> <br />Central Coast RC&D <br /> <br />Construction has been completed on the first contract of the <br />Pinto Lake water based recreation and fish and wildlife <br />enhancement measure. A contract is being prepared for con- <br />sulting firm to design the ,remainder of the Pinto Lake <br />Measure Plan. <br /> <br />Carson-Walker RC&D <br /> <br />Construction is underway on the Kingsbury Critically Eroding <br />Area Measure. Work was nearly complete when heavy snows <br />struck the area, and completion must now be delayed until <br />after the late spring thaws. The Phase II contract will be <br />let in late spring 1979. <br /> <br />COLORADO: Colorado Big Country RC&D Area <br /> <br />Hayden F. P. Measure--Final design completed. The measure <br />is expected to be implemented with State funds. <br /> <br />Two-Rivers Park (REC) Measure--At the sponsor's request a <br />revision for this measure plan is being developed. <br /> <br />Eagle River Park (REC)--Planning for a recreation development <br />along the Eagle River near the City of Eagle is underway. <br /> <br />c-34 <br />
