The State of Missouri is preparing such a <br />statement and data for the inventory has been gathered by the State Of <br />Colorado. The statements on possible solutions for water use and control <br />problema form the basis for coordinating work group plans for irrigation <br />developments. <br /> <br />10. Hydroelectric Power - (to be supplied by Federal Power Com- <br />mission) . <br /> <br />11. Agriculture, Including SoH Conservation, Forestry, and Sediment <br />Control - Prelir:dnary estimates of soil conservation needs and some of the <br />forestry needs for the AWR Basins have been distributed to the Inter- <br />Agancy Committee and to other work groups. This statement shows the <br />types of measures required and also ovsr-all estimates of quantities. <br />A forestry report has been distributed for the State of Texas. This <br />report shows forestry needs and some tentative program recommendations. <br />Similar forestry reports will be distributed for most of the remaining <br />states by April 30, 1952. All this material has been compiled on a <br />work group basis by the state teams established for that purpose. It is <br />the only planned distribution of material by the work group by April 30, <br />1952. More detailed information of the type described above and also <br />other types of information is available and will be furnished on request <br />if required by another work group. <br /> <br />12. Fish and Wildlife - This work group has cOI:Ipleted the county <br />by C01m.ty inventory of fish and wildlife resources throug.1:tout the AWR <br />Basins. Inventory data for each state are on file in State Fish and <br />Game Commission offices. In addition, a master file of inventory data <br />for all states is located in the Interior AWR Office in Tulsa. <br /> <br />13. Recreation - This work group has completed its inventory of <br />recreation areas. Data have been compiled by states to show existing <br />areas - including parka, monuments, forests, wildlife refuges, reser- <br />voir recreation areas, group camps, and roadside parks - and the recreation <br />facilitiee installed in conneotion with each. Tho tabulations of data are <br />being distributed to all concerned with the AWR survey. Additional copies <br />are available upon request to the National Park Service, chairman <br />agency for the Recreation Work Group. <br /> <br />14.
