<br />\) \) 'l. ?/t.~ <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation <br />Region 3 Boulder City <br /> <br />Investigations in Progress -- Reconnaissance <br /> <br />Arizona-Colorado River Diversion Project, Little Colorado River Basin <br />and Adjacent Counties -- Studies continued on alternate designs and esti- <br />mates of facilities that would supply the northern Arizona areas with <br />supplemental water for agricultural and/or municipal and industrial use. <br />Work continued on farm budgets for the agricultural areas in the Little <br />Colorado River Basin. A reconnaissance report on the Little Colorado <br />River Basin and Adjacent Counties is scheduled for completion in August <br />1965. <br /> <br />. Inland Basins Projects -- The interim report on the Mojave River Basin, <br />California was completed and is being reviewed by Bureau of Reclamation <br />personnel. <br /> <br />Economic and water supply studies continued on the Morongo- Yucca- <br />Twenty-nine Palms a.reas in. California. Land class ification and land use <br />studies are in progress. An interim report is scheduled for completion <br />. inSeptember 1965. <br /> <br />Upper Gila River Project <br />comp1eted.and is undergoing <br />tion in .June 1965. <br /> <br />A draft of a reconnaissance report has been <br />review. The report is scheduled for comp1e- <br /> <br />Investigations in Progress <br /> <br />Feasibility <br /> <br />Kingman Project, Arizona This investigation will make feas ibility <br />studies of a plan to provide supplemental municipal and industrial water <br />supplies by direct diversiou and.pumping from Lake Mohave on the Colorado <br />River to Kingman, Arizona, and those adjacent areas which appear to have <br />a potentiality for domestic and industrial growth. Topographic mapping <br />of the proposed pipe1 ine route from Lake Mohave to Kingman is inprog- <br />ress. The Regional Director's propos ed report is scheduled for comple- <br />tioninSeptember 1967. <br /> <br />Feasibility studies on the Central Arizona Project continued.
