The Conference will be jointly sponsored

by WRC and ICWP.

e) Meeting Register

During the past 2 years, members of ICWP have noted that

many conflicts exist in the sCheduling of meetings concerned

with water and related land resources planning. Because of

conflicting dates for many important meetings, it has been

difficult for State and Federal agencies to be represented at

such meetings.

In order to consider the development of a meeting calendar,

ICWP requested that WRC consider establishing such a meeting

register. After an exchange of correspondence between an officer

of ICWP and the Executive Director, WRC, the Executive Committee

of ICWP was polled concerning the need for a meeting register.

0707
