<br />oni~33 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Silt Pump Canal is estimated as being 97 percent complete with <br /> <br />only one large siphon to be repaired and minor construction work. The <br /> <br />Davie Ditch is at 83 percent completion with all siphons and pipelines <br /> <br />completed and 95 percent of the structures. The remaining work consists <br /> <br />of canal earthwork and lining. Dry Elk Lateral is essentially complete. <br /> <br />Work on rehabilitation of Grass Valley Canal has been delayed until water <br /> <br />is turned out of the canal July 15. Clearing and other preparatory work <br /> <br />has been initiated for this canal. The Lee Johnson contract for construc- <br /> <br />tion of Dry Elk Valley'i;Lateral and the Grass Valley Canal work is listed <br /> <br />at 36 percent complete. Good progress is being made on placement of <br /> <br />concrete for the Silt Pumping Plant. The pump manifold has been encased <br /> <br />and the discharge line complete. All concrete foundation work in the <br /> <br />switchyards has been completed and backfilling is virtually complete. <br /> <br />The pumping plant is listed at 48 percent complete, The only major con- <br /> <br />tracts contemplated for award this summer include one for clearing and <br /> <br />fencing of Rifle Gap Reservoir and for construction of the initial drain <br /> <br />in the project area. <br /> <br />The transmission line construction program has reached its lowest <br /> <br />level in several years and all major transmission lines will be completed <br /> <br />this year except the Poncha-Midway section of the Curecanti-Midway 230-kv <br /> <br />line. The second Glen Canyon-Flagstaff-Pinnacle Peak 345-kv line is <br /> <br />essentially complete and will be placed in operation during July. <br /> <br />The marketing of Storage Project power reached a new milestone in <br /> <br />the month of May. For the first time in the history of the project, rev- <br /> <br />enues for a one-month period reached one million dollars. <br /> <br />2 <br />
