Each technical <br /> <br />team will be responsible for selecting a leader and representation <br /> <br />to the Planning Team, The areas for which these technical teams <br /> <br />will be formed follow. !fother teehni~.ll teams are.n8eded they <br /> <br />will be formed later. <br /> <br />Biological Technical Team <br /> <br />This group will address itself to the biological impacts created <br /> <br />by the increased water flow, including; endangered species (such as <br /> <br />the humpback chub), sport fishing, and the impacts upon vegetation <br /> <br />along the river banks. This group will be invaluable in the formu- <br /> <br />lation of the Environmental Impact Statement. <br /> <br />Recreation Technical Team <br /> <br />, <br />Of major concern here will be the impacts upon river rafting <br /> <br />and possible erosion of camping beaches throagh the Grand Canyon. <br /> <br />Power Technical Team <br /> <br />The power team will analyze power needs, load centers, trans- <br /> <br />mission system capability, and other power related issues. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br />
