Social Technical Team

This team IV~ll investigate the effects of the Glen Canyon

expansion upon social, economic and cultural conditions. Repre-

sentation would probably come primarily from the Page community

i~cluding, city and county authorities, social-\\lelfare groups Bud

concerned citizens.

Public Grou'e.

This group will have the most open participation and meet

less frequently than at the other t\o.'O levels. Nembership on the

planning and technical teams will entitle one to be a membcer of

this body as well. Communication ,,,ill be coordinated by the BureaU

of Recla11'l3tion through periodic neIVsletters and solicited comments

from people on items in the neIVsletters, Rather than an indepth

study ofspecHic data, the public group will reviel" the maj or

findings of the planning and technical teams, !laving the widest

participation, it is envisioned that this group will interact

closely with the local community and encourage other concerned

citizens to become similarly involved.
