' <br />(..,: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />McKeever will be contacting western utilities regarding <br />purchase of coal and other activities. <br /> <br />4.0 SUBTEAM: FINANCIAL/ECONOMIC (McKeever) <br />4.1 MARCH EVENTS <br /> <br />Morgan Greenwood of Williams Technologies attended various <br />project scoping meetings in March. <br /> <br />Hal Aronson, a private consultant and associate of David <br />Williams, is cooperating in the project to help recruit <br />additional private industry partners. <br /> <br />Fletcher Byrum, former Chairman of the Board of Koppers <br />Company, was briefed on AQUATRAIN on March 5. <br /> <br />Gary Barber, President of Evergreen (Colorado) Airways, <br />met with Clinton on March 15 on possible contract work. <br /> <br />Work continued on developing a financial package for use <br />in discussions with prospective investors. <br /> <br />Rich Hildahl of Ernst & Whiney met with AQUATRAIN staff <br />on March 29 to discuss financial analysis procedures. <br /> <br />4.2 ANTICIPATED APRIL EVENTS <br /> <br />On April 18, a meeting is planned in Salt Lake City with <br />Williams, Barrett, and Clinton to discuss the AQUATRAIN <br />action plan and new flag dates. <br /> <br />5.0 SUBTEAM: TECHNICAL/ENGINEERING (Johnson) <br />5.1 MARCH EVENTS <br /> <br />McKeever presented a speech to the Interpipe '84 Conference <br />in Houston on March 1. <br /> <br />John Slaughter, President of Mid-Continent Oil Company, <br />received an update on possible need for CO2 in central Utah. <br /> <br />Configuration was done for a trunk line with laterals to <br />replace the reverse "S" curve first proposed as a route. <br />The pipeline route has been broken down into segments of <br />varying lengths to allow modifications as needed. <br /> <br />5.2 ANTICIPATED APRIL EVENTS <br /> <br />Johnson will meet with IECO to review the nature of their continued <br />participation with Aquatrain, Inc. <br /> <br />3 <br />
