Estimate needs for water by comparing demands
for water related components to existing and
projected suppl ies without planned action
(i.e., wildl ife habitat, irrigation, aesthetics,
recreation, H&l water and water qual ity~
b. Estimate needs for forest. range and crop land
products and materials by comparing demands to
existing and projected suppl ies without planned
action (i.e., timber, forage, potatoes.)
c. Estimate needs for recreation facilities by
demands (i.e., hunting, fishing and observation)
to existing and projected supplies without
planned action.

SCS, FOREST SERVICE, and ERS wilL analyze the capa-
bility of the Basin's resources to meet projected
demands in the future without development situa-
tion. Establ ish a planning base by comparing
OBERS (and alternative projected demand levels) to
the capabil ity of the Basin's resources to meet
the projected demands in a future without develop-
ment situation. This analysis will reveal the
extent and magnitude of component needs.

:Purpose

Determine need
for irrigation
and drainage

Determi ne needs
for goodS and
services

:Who

Staff
Wi lkes
Capurro

Glasgow

Capurro

Analyze current Palmer
Glasgow
Ashton

:Start

11/74

5/74

10/75

Er,d

10/75

e

Status/.
Man-Days
SCS: FS: ERS

20 5

Complete

~'176

90 80

Underway.
LP Model

1./76

20 20 20
Underway.
LP Hodel

Q
Q
r~
..""
t\.>
-.:s;

5

10
