They constitute a valuable forum and sounding <br /> <br />board for discussion and testing Westwide study proposals and <br /> <br />objectives as they develop, <br /> <br />International and Interstate Commissions - Provide information, data, <br /> <br />and advice relating to international and interstate legal inatitutioaa <br />that will have impacts on the Weatern United States Water Plan, The <br /> <br />International Joint Commission, International Boundary and Water <br /> <br />Commission, interstate compact commissions, and other related <br /> <br />commissions will be contacted aa needed for inputs to the Westwide <br /> <br />study. <br /> <br />States _ Provide contents and results of the individual State water <br /> <br />plana. The State water plans will be reviewed and incorporated in <br /> <br />the West wide study wherever possible. The synthesia and consideration <br />of these results and the objectives snd goals of the States are <br /> <br />essential to the development ofa general plan to meet the future <br /> <br />water needs of the West. The individual and collective views of <br /> <br />the Ststes will be solicited, Individual States are expected to <br />proceed as rapidly as possible in the completion of their respective <br /> <br />Stste water plans and to make dats from on-going State studies <br /> <br />available to the Westwide study. <br /> <br />16 <br />
