The <br /> <br />Council will provide evaluation policies, standards, and procedures, <br /> <br />Special problems identified by the study will be referred to the <br />Council as they arise. Periodic reports of study progress will be <br />made to the Council to insure that the objectives of the Water <br /> <br />Resources Planning Act of 1965 are being met, The Water Resources <br /> <br />Council will be asked to assist in the conduct of sueh pub lie bearings <br />and/or workshops that may be found desirable during the course of <br /> <br />the study, <br /> <br />National Water Commission - Provide eounsel and guidance on broad <br /> <br />policy aspects of the Westwide study, The Commiseion's review and <br />comment a on the progress reports will provide guidanee and insight <br /> <br />as to the ehanging polieies in water resource development and study <br /> <br />from the national viewpoint. <br /> <br />Pacific-Northwest River Basins Commission - Provide information ancl <br /> <br /> <br />data on studies underway to develop a general plan of water resources <br /> <br /> <br />and related land development for the Columbia River Drainage Basin <br />in the United States together with adjaeent coastal areas, The <br />Commission plan of development is acheduled for eompletion by 1977 <br />and the States of the Pacific-Northwest have keyed the development <br />of their respective State water plans to the completion of the Paeifie- <br />Northwest studies. As phases of this study are eompleted,they will <br />be integrated into the Westwide study, <br /> <br />15 <br />
