Changed deliveries for minimum streamflow below Ridgway Reservoir from
the M&I account to the Minpool account.

. Evaluated procedures for accounting of reservoir evaporation in the
determination of the reservoir's "single fill" rule. This may be incorrectly
tracking how much water is stored in a reservoir.

. Evaluated inflows to Ridgway Reservoir. Model appears to fill reservoir too
quickly during winter and not in peak spring runoff months. This may be
the reason for too much water in the Uncompahgre valley which tends to
limit Gunnison Tunnel deliveries.

. Checking diversions through the Gunnison Tunnel. Still not taking enough
water, possibly because of too much native flow in the Uncompahgre.

.

Updated the agricultural diversion demands for the North Fork, Smith Fork,
Middle Gunnison and Uncompahgre Valley to incorporate revised
consumptive use time series obtained from version 0.99 of GUNMOD.

· Revised reservoir targets for Blue Mesa, Taylor Park and Ridgway
reservoirs.

.

Changed physical capacity of the Fire Mountain Canal at 209 cfs based on
information from GUNMOD version 0.99.

. Performed additional OA/OC on the inflows above Ridgway Reservoir,
including a comparison of the USGS gage flows for the Uncompahgre River
above the reservoir to the GUNMOD inflow dataset.

.

Checked all network inflows in MODSIM (CaI3.6) to verify that they are the
same as GUNMOD 0.99. Checked all demands in MODSIM to verify that
they are the same as those in GUN MOD 0.99. All data matched.

.

Crystal and Marrow Point reservoirs were added to the MODSIM model as
operating reservoirs so that in the future, the reservoirs could be drawn
down by releases if desired by the user. This also enables a computation
of the evaporation loss. Target storage levels are set at the maximum
storage capacity to keep the reservoirs full to the extent possible.

· Changed the storage links connecting Blue Mesa and Ridgway reservoirs to
the demands of the Uncompahgre Project canals such that only the M&D,
South and West canal have direct access to storage water.

· Made small revision in the operation of the Project 7 exchange link to pull
the amount of water flowing through the Fairview Feeder canal from the
M&I account in Ridgway Reservoir and put it into the UVWUA exchange
account.

3

1.16-27 Fosha.
