Vrein Creek. <br /> <br />Boulder Creek and South Platte River, and all tributaries thereof for whioh <br /> <br />cleim is hereby made. shall inolude the spring. surfece, waste percolating. <br /> <br />return, drainage and developed waters now Or hereafter arising and resulting <br /> <br />from the water diverted from the Col~rado River and its tributaries through <br /> <br /> <br />ths worke of the Colorado-Big Thompson Projeot, and from the storage, applica- <br /> <br />tion and use of all of said waters, togethsr with the right to capture and <br /> <br />recapture, use and reuse all of said wster and the right to colleot, store. <br /> <br />convey, transport and cerry said watere in any snd all of said rivers, snd in <br /> <br />any and all oreeks. arroyos, gulches. ravinee. depressions snd drainage <br /> <br />channels wherein said waters mey arise or aocumulate. Said waters are to be <br /> <br />applied under canals, ditches, pipelines, feeder and inlet ditches, or other <br /> <br />aqueduct structures to rsservoirs having their headgates in the Big Thompson, <br /> <br />Cache ls POudre, St. Vrain. Bouldarand South Platte Rivers, and their <br /> <br />tributaries. Claim is also made for the right to divert Big Thompson River <br /> <br />water at Olympus Dam for the purposes of power production through the Estes- <br /> <br />Foothills Aqueduct and Power System and at Tunnel No. 1 of the Horsetooth <br /> <br />reeder Canal for' use in the Big Thompson Power Plant, and for the edded <br /> <br />storage of acce8B Big Thompson River water. The claim of appropriation <br /> <br />made shall oonstitute one complete appropriation. <br /> <br />The Project cf the olaimant comprises the several aforenamed units <br /> <br /> <br />(involving the several uses) all of which are inter-dependent and after <br /> <br />construction thereof, in a gradual, continuing and progressing manner, are <br /> <br />to be operated and maintained together, so.as to constitute one entire water <br /> <br />appropriation. <br /> <br />Construction was commenced by actual survey on September 14, 1933. <br /> <br />upon said original survey of Granby Reservoir, as evidenced by Uaps Nos. 15904 <br /> <br /> <br />snd 16101, filed with the State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to end by <br /> <br />~ <br />, <br />2659 <br /> <br />
