I, 2 end ,) ere inter-conneoted end ere looated in Seotions <br /> <br />10, 11. and 15, T. 2 N., R. 76 w. :southwest of Granby Dam. Tlis location of the <br /> <br />axis of this continuous dike is described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />Starting at the southeast corner of Section II, T. 2 N., R. 76 W., 6th' <br /> <br />, <br />Principal Meridian. Station 0 100 of the axis of Dike No.2 bsars N. 600 32f' W. <br />a distanoe of 4.006.3 feet. The bearing of the axis of Dike No. 2 is S. 720 <br /> <br />23' w. a distanoe of 1.852 fest to an interseotion with Dike No. I, the axis of <br />o <br />which bears S. 44 12' W., a distance of 2.421 ft. to an intersection with Dike <br /> <br />No.4, the axis of which bears N. 450 48' W., a distanoe of 435 feet, thenoe <br />N. 320 00' W., a distanoe of 500 feet. The length of the crest of the 3 dikss <br />is 4,408 feet. <br /> <br />The maximum height of this oontinuous dike (Dikes Nos. I, 2 ~ 4) is <br /> <br />80 feet above the lowest point in the foundation exoavation. The structures <br /> <br />ars earth and rook-fill dikss with an impervious earth core and rockfill or rip- <br /> <br />rap on the outside faoes. The orest width is 30' 0". <br /> <br />Dike No.3 is looated in Seotion 13, T. 2 N., R. 76 w., 6th Prinoipal <br /> <br />Meridian, southeast of Granby Dl!.lII. The location of the axis of this dike is de- <br /> <br />soribed as followsl <br /> <br />Starting at the northwa.st oornsr of Ssotion 13, T. 2 N., R. 76 W.. 6th <br />Principal 1furidian, Station 20 100, of the axis bears S. 630 17t' E., a distanoe <br />of 1996.6 feet. The bearing of ths axis of the diks is S. 360 21' E. <br />The maximum height of the dike is 60 feet above the lowest point in <br /> <br />the foundation exoavation. The length of the orest is 1800 feet. The struoture <br /> <br />is an earth and rook-fill dike with an impervious earth core in the center and <br /> <br />r~ck-fill or riprap on the outside fsces. The orest width is 30' 0". <br /> <br />The sources of supply for Granby Reservoir are the Colorado River and <br /> <br />its tributaries above the location of Granby Dam; the Willow Creek Diversion; <br /> <br />Strawberry and Meadow Creek end Walden Hollow Diversion; Williams River Diver- <br /> <br />sions and the ~raaer River Diversions, whioh diversions ere hereinafter described <br /> <br />in the next sucoeeding numbered paragraph. <br /> <br />The above ground surface capacity of Granby Reservoir is 544.%7 e.r'. <br /> <br />"Dead" storage 77.331 aore feet <br />"A otivo" atorage 467,536 aore feet <br />"Bank" storage 4,000 acre feet <br />Total storage 548,567 acre feet 2653 <br /> <br />
