Granby Reservoir (Sheet 3. Exhibit C), located in Grand County, <br /> <br />Colorado, is formad by Granby Dam across the Colorado River and four dikes in <br /> <br />the i~~ediate vioinity of this dam across four saddles or depressions in the <br /> <br />earth's surface below the normal high water surface, elevation 8280.00 feet <br /> <br />in the reservoir. The reservoir is located in all or parts of Sections 25. <br /> <br />26, 27. 34, 35 and 36. T. 3 N., R. 76 w., Seotions 29, 30 and 32, T. 3 N.. <br /> <br />R. 75 W.; Sections 1. 2. 3. 10. 11, 12. 13 end 15, T. 2 N.. R. 76 W. and <br /> <br />Seotions 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 14. 15, 16, 17, 18, 21. 22 and 23, T. 2 N.. R. 75 w. <br /> <br />The Granby Dam, across the bad of the Colorado River is located in Seotions <br /> <br />11 end 12. T. 2 N., R. 76 w. The location of the axis of the dam is dascribed <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Starting at tha southeast corner of Section 11, T. 2 N., R. 76 W., <br /> <br /> <br />6th Principal Meridian. Station 11 100 of the axis bears N. 90 37' w. a <br /> <br />distanoe of 2,635.3 feet. The bearing of the axis of the dam is N. 490 30' w. <br /> <br />The maximum height of the dam is 295 feet above the lowest point in <br /> <br />the foundation excavation. The langth of tha crast is 885 feet. The structure <br /> <br />is an earth and rock fill dam with an impervious earth core in the center and <br /> <br />rook fill or riprap on the outside roces.
