After passing through <br /> <br />this hydro-aleotrio power plant, the water will be returned to the Blue River. <br /> <br />The reservoir will provide storAge water for full or partial <br /> <br />irrigation of land lying downstraam from it, in replaoement of water to be <br /> <br />exported from the Colorado River Basin by other works of ths Coloredo-Big <br /> <br />Thompson Project. The number of seres of land to be irrigated by water <br /> <br />stored in the reservoir is spproxim9tely 120,000 aores. <br /> <br />The Green Wount9in Power Plant. (Sheet 1. Rxhibit C) is located <br /> <br />adjaosnt to the downstream toe of the Grean Mountain Dam and also adjacent <br /> <br />to the Blue River channel. in the SWt of the NEt of Seotion 15, T. 2 S.. <br />R. 80 W., 6th Prinoipal Meridian. <br /> <br />The conduit to the power plant is an 18 ft. diameter ciroular, rein- <br /> <br />forced conorete tunnel and a twin-barrel steel penstock. The length of the <br /> <br />cirouler tunnel is 633 ft. The grade of this tunnel is 5 ft. per 1000 ft. <br /> <br />, <br />The penstocks are esoh 906 ft. long and 102 inches in diameter. Tho cspacity <br /> <br />of this entire conduit is 2000 sac. ft. The maximum amount of water claimed <br /> <br />for development of hydro-electric energy through the power plant is 1726 s.f. <br /> <br />2655 <br /> <br />
