<br />002090 <br /> <br />SECTION 2 - PROCUREMENT STEPS <br /> <br />A. Negotiate Construction Contracts. Depending on the complexity of the work, a period <br />of 44 to 132 working days is allowed for this task. <br /> <br />I. Proposal preparation - The Contractor prepares the cost and technical proposal for <br />review by Reclamation. Depending on the complexity of the work, a period from 20 to <br />60 working days is allowed for this task. <br /> <br />2. Proposals provided to Reclamation. <br /> <br />3. Proposal Review - Reclamation reviews the Contractor's technical and cost <br />proposals. It is anticipated, depending on the complexity of the proposal, from 5 to 10 <br />working days will be necessary for this review. <br /> <br />4. Discussions - It is anticipated that following Reclamation's review of the Contractor's <br />technical and cost proposals, discussions will be necessary to provide feedback. It is <br />anticipated, depending on the complexity of the proposal Y, to 2 days will be necessary to <br />complete the step. Following discussions, the Contractor will be requested to prepare a <br />Final Proposal Revision (FPR). <br /> <br />5. FPR Preparation - This time period will be established depending on the complexity <br />of the revisions necessary and the criticality of the schedule. It is expected that <br />approximately 15 to 40 working days will be necessary for this task. <br /> <br />6. FPR Review - Reclamation will review the FPR. Following Reclamation's review, a <br />recommendation will be made to the Contracting Officer to make award. Depending on <br />the complexity of the revisions, a period of 3 to 10 working days is allowed to complete <br />this task. <br /> <br />7. Minor Adjustments to the FPR - Depending on the complexity of the revisions, a <br />period of 0 to 10 working days is allowed to complete this task. <br /> <br />8. Award - Contract is signed and executed. <br /> <br />B. Post Award Actions. A period of 10 working days is allowed for this task. <br /> <br />I. Notice to proceed - Official notice from the Contracting Officer to proceed with the <br />work under the contract following completion of the post award actions. <br /> <br />6 <br />
