<br />002087 <br /> <br />PART II - PLAN FOR ISSUING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS FOR INDIVIDUAL <br />FEATURES <br /> <br />SECTION 1 - PLANNED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS <br /> <br />The following is a listing of the currently planned Construction Contracts with the tentative <br />award schedule and a listing of the items under each Construction Contract which Reclamation <br />will request a detailed technical proposal for negotiations. Each proposal submitted by the <br />Contractor will include a detailed cost estimate. <br /> <br />A. Ridges Basin Dam, Outlet Works Excavation. (Award approximately October 21, <br />2002): Excavate the outlet works inlet channel downstream of Station 30+00, excavate the <br />upstream and downstream portals, excavate the downstream channel to Station 59+25, and <br />excavate for parking area. <br /> <br />1. Technical proposal items: <br /> <br />(a) Bar chart schedule with planned resources. <br /> <br />(b) Drill and blaster's experience. <br /> <br />(c) Test blast and typical production blast plan. <br /> <br />B. Durango Pumping Plant, Stage 1. (Award approximately February 7, 2003): Main plant, <br />intake, and fish discharge structure excavation. Reinforced concrete intake and fish discharge <br />structure construction, including temporary cofferdams. Excavation dewatering and sediment <br />treatment. <br /> <br />1. Technical proposal items: <br /> <br />(a) Drill and blaster's experience. <br /> <br />(b) Test blast and typical production blast plan. <br /> <br />(c) Site layout, including stockpile sizes and locations and water discharge <br />treatment locations. <br /> <br />(d) Coffer dam details and construction methods. <br /> <br />(e) Resume for concrete foreman demonstrating successful experience on similar <br />types of construction. <br /> <br />(f) Bar chart schedule with planned resources. <br /> <br />3 <br />
