<br />u~)3n~ <br /> <br />Ie) Specify instr8&m flow targets OR define & development plan <br /> <br />At this point the procedures for instream flow targeting or development <br />plan assessment are invoked. Instream flow targets are specified a locations <br />within a river basin. A development plan scenario is established by <br />designating possible development in a water division using the interactive <br />interface to locate and quantify the amount and size of such demands. Probable <br />and physically feasible developments are selected from a list of current <br />conditional water rights (could specify instream flow as a senior right). <br /> <br />The user selects the basin of interest using the Map Utility. The DMI is <br />then used to request a tabulation of conditional water rights in the basin <br />sorted by priority. These data are displayed using the Spreadsheet Utility 50 <br />that the user can then specify which water rights are to be considered as part <br />of a development plan, assign a (revised) priority and quantity to each right. <br />The consumptive use model is then invoked to determine the consumptive use <br />associated with these water rights. The total consumptive use is then <br />determined for the basin. This value is then compared with the amount of <br />developable supply obtained in step (bl.
