In No. 1805 this acreage is stated as 118,420. <br /> <br />Hydroelectric Plant No. 5 is served by a conduit <br />having a capacity of 2,000 c.f.s. It is asserted that <br />generation of electric energy in this plant began on <br />May 18, 1943. The maximum amount of water to be used <br />in this plant is said to be 1725 c.f.s. <br /> <br />Hydroelectric Plant No. 6 has not as yet been con- <br />structed. It will be served by a conduit having a capacity <br />01' 2,000 c.1'.s. <br /> <br />Elliott Creek Canal has not been constructed. It will <br />divert water 1'rom Elliott Creek and empty it into Green <br />Mountain Reservoir. The carrying capacity of the canal <br />will be 185 c.f.s. <br /> <br />Claim is made "of a priority right as of April 17, <br />1936, or as of June 9, 1938, depending on the final deter- <br />mination whether the date of priority is the date of beginning <br />of surveyor the date of the beginning of construction work," <br />for the storage of 156,545 a.f. from Blue River and Elliott <br />Creek in Green Mountain Reservoir for domestic, irrigation, <br />industrial, manufacturing and recreat:onal uses, and for <br />direct flow rights for power generation (in 1806 the amount <br />prayed is 2,000 c.f.s.; in 1805 the amount prayed is 1,726 <br />c.f.s. - the claim is so worded as to be subject to the <br />interpretation that 2,000 c.f.s. is claimed for each of the <br />two proposed hydro plants). <br /> <br />Senate Document 80 <br /> <br />Senate Document 80, 75th Congress, 1st Session, incor- <br />porates certain principles and stipulations "governing the <br />construction and operation of said project (Colorado-Big <br />Thompson) for the protection 01' the rights and interests <br />dependent on the Colorado River in Colorado." By identical <br />letters to the Secretary of Interior dated June 11, 1937 <br />the Northern Colorado Water Users' Association and the <br />Western Slope Protective Association expressed their approval <br />of such principles and stipulations.
