<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.!> <br /> <br />File No. 20635 <br /> <br />Know all Men by these Presents: That the undersigned City and <br />County of Denver, claimant, being a municipal corporation of the State <br />of Colorado, acting in this behalf by and through its Board of Water <br />Commissioners whose postoffice address is P. O. Box 600, Denver 1, Colo- <br />rado, has caused to be located the Williams Fork Reservoir, as herein- <br />after mentioned, has made these several statements relative thereto, and <br />filed the sane in compliance ,lith the la1-ls of the State of Colorado. <br />The accompanying map shows the location of said Reservoir and forms a <br />part of this filing. This is an amendment to the filing which bears the <br />State Engineer's number 16051, accepted for filing in the office of the <br />State Engineer of Colorado on the 7th day of January, 1936. The reservoir <br />shown hereon is exactly the same as the reservoir shown on said original <br />filing No. 16051. Said original filing showed a height of dam, surveys, <br />capl.city tables, source of supply, date of conunencement of work, and <br />statement of purposes as shown hereinafter, but the hereinafter statement <br />will show a different estimated cost and additional purposes for which the <br />structure will be used. This reservoir is a portion of the Denver Nuni- <br />cipal "later System, map and statement of which was filed in the office of <br />the State EIlf.;i.neer of Colorado on January 19, 1928, his number being <br />14894. Claimant further states: <br /> <br />First: Maxim\Ul1 height of dam is 180 feet. <br /> <br />Fourth: The total capacity of said reservoir is 93,637 acre feet <br />of water, far which claim is hereby made for municipal uses and other <br />beneficial purposes including irrigation, the generation of electric power, <br />the use of water in connection with the treatment and disposal of municipal <br />sewage and the exchange of V/ater for any of the foregoing or other bene- <br />ficial purposes; and for the further pur~ose of filling and refilling said <br />reservoir throughout the year. <br /> <br />Fifth: The source of supply of said reservoir is the Williams Fork <br />River, a tributary of the Colorado River, together ,lith all tributaries of <br />said Williams Fork River at and above the dam of the Williams Fork Reservoir <br />and together with seepage and percolating waters and return flow from upstream <br />uses which sustain the elevation or flow of said Williams Fork River. <br /> <br />Sixth: The estimated cost of the reservoir is tv/o million two hundred <br />fifty thousand dollars ($2,250,000) and of the appurtenant power conduit is <br />six hundred eighty thousand dollars ($680,000), which totals two million nine <br />hundred thirt?r thousand dollars ($2,930,000). <br /> <br />Seventh: Ivork .Tas conrrnenced by survey on the lOth day of November, 1935. <br /> <br />0747 <br /> <br />
