<br />} <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />File No. 16051 <br /> <br />Know all men by these presents, that the un:!ersigned City and <br />County of Denver, claimant, by its Board of Water Commissioners, and <br />by its Manager of Improvements an:! Parks, whose postoffice address is <br />Denver, Colorado, has caused to be located the Williams Fork Reservoir, <br />as hereinafter mentioned, and has made these several statements relative <br />thereto and filed the same in compliance \.,ith the laws of the State of <br />Colorado. The accompanying map shows the location of said Reservoir and <br />forms a part of this filing. This Reservoir is a portion of the Denver <br />Municipal Water System, map and statement of i-lhich was filed in the office <br />of the State Engineer of Colorado on January 19, 1928, his number being <br />14894. <br /> <br />First: Height of dam is 180 feet. <br /> <br />Fourth: The total capacity of said Reservoir is 93,637 <br />acre-feet of water, for which claim is hereby made for municipal uses <br />and other beneficial purposes including irrigation, the generation of <br />electric power, the use of Hater in connection ,rith the treatment and <br />disposal of municipal sewa!re and the exchange of water for a:n:y of the <br />foregoing or other beneficial purposes. <br /> <br />Fifth: . The source of supply of said Reservoir is Williams Fork <br />(a tributary of the Colorado River) an:! its tributaries. <br /> <br />Sixth: <br /> <br />The estimated cost is $1,850,000 <br /> <br />1935. <br /> <br />Seventh: \-lork. was connnenced by survey on the lOth day of November <br /> <br />Eighth: Water stored in this Reservoir Hill be used in part by <br />releasing the same back into the channel of the \-lilliams Fork for re- <br />gulating the flow of said stream in connection with the diversion of <br />water therefrom by means of a transmountain tunnel to be constructed thru <br />the Continental Divide between the water shed of Williams Fork and the <br />water shed of Clear Creek, a tributary of the South Platte River. <br /> <br />Accepted for filing in the office of the State Engineer of Colorado <br />on the 7th day of January A. D. 1936. <br /> <br />0748 <br /> <br />
