1051

Locate nodes representing the aggregated structures within the river network, It is
anticipated that nodes representing aggregated irrigation structures will be inserted ~
belo ,75 baseflow nodes, and that 7 additional nodes will be needed to maintain an
appropriate level of resolution in simulating irrigation use. The State will on an ongoing
basis, advise Boyle on State's preferences for handling special aggregation cases involving
subjective or judgement calls,

Assign names and ids consistent with established naming conventions to the aggregation
nodes and structures,
2. Boyle: using an electronic spreadsheet, import the aggregation lists of WDIDS and acreage
and report on any wdids in more than one aggregation group, Provide a summary of 7/1 I
WJ?IDs in more ~ one aggregation group, State will resolve by aSsigmng these ids to just)i--. rf#*
c::2!!egroup._, ------, ,- -,- --,-,--,-,-- ---,- '-' , -" ,- --" .., -- ---
3, Boyle: Cleanup the Task 3,02 ARCVIEW map to clearly show the aggregations of irrigated
lands (and river nodes where their diversions will be represented). Print a 24 by 36 inch
copy of the map,
4, Boyle: Prepare a Task Memorandum describing the results of the previous step, The
memo should tabulate the structures represented by each aggregation, organized as follows:

Group 1
Aggregated structure location: (describe network position)
Disaggregated structures:
Name and ID Location Structure # Comment
,..etc,
Group 2
Agliregated structure location: (describe network position)
Disaggregated structures:
Name and ID Location Structure # Comment
..,etc,
The memo should describe special cases where the grouping required engineering judgement
or otherwise did not conform to the criteria listed under Task 3,03.01. A copy of the map
produced in Task 3.03.02 should be included, It is expected that the memo will be 3 pages
or less in length, excluding the figure and table.
5, Boyle: Make the Task Memorandum available to the State and to the Division Engineer for
review. Hold a meeting or telephone call with the Division Engineer to review the
aggregation. For budgeting purposes, assume that review will take place in a meeting in
Denver, and will be combined with the Division review of Task 3.05.4; if circumstances
require a meeting at the Division Office this activity will be considered out of scope. The
State CRDSS management team will also provide written comments on the draft task memo
and resolve how to handle Task 3.03 review comments from the Division Engineer which
conflict with State CRDSS team's comments. The State will complete their review of the
memo within one week of receiving the Division Engineer's cOmInents. Boyle will finalizt
the subtask memo within a week of receiving the State's COlOJnents,

Phase IlIa Scope of Services

A-29

June 12, 1996
