STATE: Define locations for all baseflow nodes contained in the Phase II Yampa Riyer <br />Basin ModeL Prepare a location file for these suitable for import into an ARCVIEW file, <br />4. STATE: Set up a project in ARCVIEW (SGI version) with the following elements: <br />River Basins (with Yampa River Basin differentiated by color from other basins) <br />500K hydrology <br />The table of Phase II modeled structures created above should be imported into the <br />project file. <br />Irrigated lands for the Yampa River Basin (showing only cropland (types 1-9) with <br />irrigation flag). The irrigated land table should be joined to table of Phase II modeled <br />irrigation structures, and used to color differentiate Phase II lands from other lands, <br />"Diversions" (this table should be joined to the irrigated land table so as to only plot <br />those structures tied to irrigated lands and joined to the table of Phase II modeled <br />irrigation structures to allow one to color differentiate Phase II diversions from other <br />lands, ) <br />The location table of Phase IT base flow nodes created by the state should be imported <br />into ARCVIEW and used to plot these locations. <br />This project file and any associated fIles should be placed on cando at the conclusion of this <br />task. <br />5. Prepare a ARCVIEW layout of the above map layers, Prepare a 36 by 48 inch map using <br />the layout. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />1. A revised "diversions' file containing all locations of Yampa River diversion structures tied <br />to Yampa River irrigated lands, <br />2. A list of structures modeled in Phase II. <br />3, A fIle of Phase IT baseflow node locations in a format suitable for import into ARCVIEW, <br />4. A ARCVIEW project file with the layers indicated in 3. above, <br />5. A 36 by 48 inch map generated from ARCVIEW. <br /> <br />Subtask 3.03 Aggregate Irrigation Structures <br /> <br />Objective: Determine which diversion structures should be grouped together and decide where the <br />node representing each group's aggregated operations should fit into the river network. <br /> <br />Approach: <br />1. Boyle: Based on mapping developed in Task 3.02, group diversion structures together in <br />consideration of the following factors: <br />· baseflow hydrology (primary factor) <br />· spatial proximity <br />· Endangered Species instream flow reaches <br />. existing structures modeled <br />. new tributaries <br />. critical administrative reaches <br />. return flows <br />· aggregated irrigated area not to exceed 1000 acres <br /> <br />Phase III.
