No serious seepage problems are <br />anticipated. An adequate amount of borrow material is available in the <br />general area. MOlterial for riprap is available nearby. <br /> <br />Benefits from liorks of Improvement <br /> <br />Benefits accruing to the proposed works of improvemant have not baen <br />evaluated. Assumption is that benefits will exceed cost for reservoir <br />storage for irrigation water, and that minor amounts of flooduater and <br />sediment damage reduction benefits will accrue to the land, crops, <br />irrigation facilities, roads and bridges, <lDd to the Toun of Saguache. <br /> <br />Runoff from about 146,560 acres, or 229 square miles, of drainage <br />area will be controlled. Average annual repayment of the $1,801,500 total other <br />cost based on a 3-1/2 percent 50-year loan from the FaI'\ll3rs Home Ad- <br />ministration is $76,800.
