<br />001735 <br />2522.04 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />TITLE 2500 - WATERSHED MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2522.04 - Responsibilities <br /> <br />2522.04a - Director, Watershed and Air Management Staff. <br />The Director, Watershed and Air Management Staff, Washlng- <br />ton Office, shall develop pOlicy, program direction, and <br />assign targets for the Watershed Improvement program. <br /> <br />2522.04b - Regional Foresters. Regional Foresters shall: <br /> <br />1. Establish Regional guidelines for priorities for <br />watershed improvement projects. <br /> <br />2. Establish and maintain a computer file of watershed <br />improvement needs (FSH 2509.15, ch. 10). <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3. Provide training for personnel involved in water- <br />shed improvement planning, project implementation, main- <br />tenance, critiques, and evaluations. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2522.04c - Forest Supervisors. Forest Supervisors shall: <br /> <br />1. Develop and maintain a Watershed Improvement Needs <br />inventory (FSH 2509.15). <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2. Determine priorities and develop and approve <br />prescriptions and plans for a Forest watershed improvement <br />program. Delegate the development of prescriptions and <br />plans to District Rangers when expertise is available at <br />District level. <br /> <br />2522.04d - District Rangers. District Rangers shall: <br /> <br />1. Maintain the District Watershed Improvement Needs <br />inventory, identify high priority improvement projects, and <br />as delegated by Forest Supervisor, prepare prescriptions <br />and plans for improvement measures. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2. Ensure that watershed improvement measures are <br />installed and maintained as prescribed and approved. <br /> <br />3.
