Also <br />identify the number of acres where improvements in water- <br />shed condition can be justified economically, socially, and <br />environmentally. The Watershed Improvement Needs Inventory <br />(FSH 2509.15) is one source of information when reporting <br />watershed condition. <br /> <br />2522 - WATERSHED IMPROVEMENT. Watershed improvement <br />includes all work associated with resource improvement prac- <br />tices implemented to improve watershed condition. These <br />practices may be implemented for the rehabilitation of land <br />degraded to the pOint where natural recovery will not occur <br />within the time limits of economic, social, and resource <br />demands, and also watershed protection measures implemented <br />by resource managers to improve existing natural conditions <br />when time is not a limiting factor.
