San Juan, While and Dolores River.

Continue incorporation of the USBR's Big River Model
such that the model is fully operational at the end of the
second year.

3rd and 4th Year (1996/97) Plan is less definite than the first two years ofCRDSS
development but is currently proposed to include
development of water right administrative model, real time
data collection, river forecasting model, stochastic flow
model and demand forecast model.

CRDSS RELATED CURRENT STATE ACTIVITIES

Irrigated Acreage Assessment

In cooperation with the USBR, the DWR is
currently preparing an inventory of irrigated acreage
for the Colorado River Basin within Colorado,
Irrigated acreage is being delineated on aerial photos
by the USBR and field checked by the DWR,
Gunnison Basin complete, This data is needed for
an accurate consumptive use assessment in CRDSS,

Diversion Record Checking

The DWR is currently using water commissioners
and other staff to check and improve the quality of
historical diversion records, This effort will
continue through 1994 and 1995,

4
