(
Task 1.08 Historical Database (May 8 - January 1) N ~ 'J

I. Insrall and Implement Database (May 8 - December 25)

. This task is 70% complete. An additional "raw" disk needs to be installed on the system.
The present database structure will then be properly sized and moved to rhis disk.

2. Review Historical Data and POpUlate the Database (May 8 - January 1)

. The progress on individual data t).pes is summarized in the database progress tables. Overall
progress is about 65% compl~te. Most of the remaining work involves migrating the State's
diversion and water rights data into the CRDSS structure.

3. Fill Data Gaps as Required by the Water Rights Planning and Consumptive Use Tasks (May 15.
- January 1; revised to October I - January I)

. No additional work has yet been completed on this task during Phase IIb; rhis task is being
coordinated with the WRP and CU model tasks.

4. Develop Historical Data Access; Procedures (May 15 - November I)

. This subtask is 40% complete. The system needs analysis is complete. Coding and testing
of the low level DMIs remain.

5.

Design and Implement Prototype Water Rights Database (May 15 - December 25)

~

. This task is 30% complete. A conceptual design is complete. The system will allow
viewing of a subset of water rights in the Gunnison River basin as determined by rights used
in GUNMOD. Note that mIgration of the State's waler rights data into the HYDROBASE
structure is an additional iSsue. The original Dbase files have been migrated into a
corresponding INFORMIX structure. However, we are wairing for a mi ration map from
Ray Bennett to begin the actual migration of this information into the lower level tab es.
Viewing of approprnne water rights information to support the water rights planning model
effort is the priority.

6.

Design and Implement Prototype Scenario Management and Database (September 4 .
December 25)

. This task is 20% complete. A conceptual design is complete. This database allows storage
and access of important CU model and WRP model runs.

7. Design and Implement a Database to Contain Data Used in the Hydrosphere Implementation of
the CRAM Model of the Gunnison Ri,.er Basin (May 15 - September 25)

. This task is 100% complete.

1~16

A~7S(J91'J4

4
