By letter agreement, the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency (FEMA) and Bureau of <br />Reclamation should implement means by which FEMA <br />can most expeditiously and economically <br />incorporate the provisions and maps of <br />the Floodway into the National Flood <br />Insurance Program. <br /> <br />II. The Tasks Force's recommended Colorado <br />River flood plain management regulation <br />amendments should be incorporated into local <br />regulations and that the adoption of the <br />recommended amendments be mandatory for <br />entities along the Colorado River Floodway <br />in order to join or to continue to participate <br />in the National Flood Insurance Program. <br /> <br />III. The Congress should provide sufficient funding <br />for the full operation and maintenance of the <br />Colorado River Flood Warning System. <br /> <br />~ <br />"'- <br />
