The project includes 01,000 MW pumping-generating plant, penstock <br />tunnel, earth dam and canals. <br /> <br />Prepared layouts and cost estimates of 0 complete irrigation system for "The <br />Initial Karun Project Feasibility Report", 0 system planned to irrigate about <br />90,000 acres in Iran. Work included cost estimates, lacations and sizes of <br />diversion dam, pumping plants, canals, and related structures with capaci- <br />ties up to about 1,300 cfs. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer, U.S. Department of Irlterior, Bureau of Reclamation, Cimorron, Colorado <br />(1965-1967). Contract administration at Morrow Point, 0 double curvature thin arch dam <br />with underground power plant. Duties included: analyzing and computing costs of can- <br />troctor's operation and making recommendations concerning contractor's claims, writing <br />periodic construction progress reports, negotiating prices with contractor for extra work, <br />preparing change orders and computing pay quantities. (Two year assignment). <br /> <br />Civil Engineer, Bureau of Reclamation, Ainsworth, Nebroska (1964-1965). Construction <br />inspector of irrigation canals and laterals which ranged in size from 4 cfs to 500 cfs, in- <br />cluding structures, concrete canol I ining and earthwork. (One year assignment), <br /> <br />C ivil Engineer, Bureau of Reclamation, Ainsworth, Nebraska (1961-1964). Supervised <br />final design and collection of design data for irrigation canals and latera Is from 4 cfs to <br />500 cfs. Work included layouts, cost estimates, preparation of plan and profile construc- <br />tion drawings, computation of specification estimated quantities, preparation of right-of- <br />way tract maps and checking land purchase or easement contracts. Supervised from three <br />to six engineers and technicians. (Three year assignment) <br /> <br />Civil Engineer, Bureau of Reclamation, Nebraska and Colorado (1960-1961). Performed <br />work similar to that above under direct supervision of others. Also participated in the <br />engineer's training program which was designed to provide new engineers with broad <br />background in Bureau projects and policy. (Two year assignment) <br /> <br />Junior Engineer, E. F. Brater, Consulting Engineer, Ann Arbor, Michigan (Part time <br />work while attending University).
