001457

l

William H. Parker

Having acquired over thirty years of surveying experience, Mr. Parker is a respected
and valued member of the surveying staff of Armstrong Engineers and Associates, Inc. His
experience dates back to the early 1940's, at which time Mr. Parker was a surveyor for the
Army field artillery, His early days of surveying were spent in mapping target areas, in and out
of combat zones, occasionally under hostile fire,

~

Since joining Armstrong Engineers and Associates, Inc. Mr. Parker has been involved
in all aspects of surveying and field support for engineering. Some of the wide range of services
that he has provided include well locations, mine claim surveying, construction loca-
tion and stakeout surveying, property surveys of all types, subdivision platting, and much
more.

~

Prior to joining Armstrong Engineers and Associates, Inc., Mr, Parker was employed
by Meurer-Serafini-Meurer, a large Denver firm. where over the course of twenty years. he
participated in a vast assortment of projects, such as surveying and construction of many major
subdivisions, dams, water impoundments, and roads, One of the many projects that he has
been involved in and takes pride is the Johns-Manville World Center in Denver. Colorado,
where Mr, Parker was responsible for the survey work on all of the parking facilities and
drainage improvements.

J

J

To say that Mrs. Parker's experience is diversified is a true understatement, After
the disastrous 1976 flood in Big Thompson Canyon, Mr. Parker was called upon to survey and
map all public areas that were submerged during the flood, in an effort to guard against
possible future occurences, He has also been called upon to map the locations of aircraft debris
after plane crashes, so that permanent data could be available for further study and possible
legal actions.

Other past experience includes location, topographical, right of way, and construc.
tion surveying for several major state highway projects in California and New York, as well as
surveying for airport construction at Tucson International Airport.

Mr. Parker has been a Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Colorado for over
twenty years, and is a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado, a technical
organization,
