Major <br />projects include: ' <br /> <br />Citancluy Project, Indonesia. Participoted in project formulation, review of <br />reports, review of preliminary designs and economic studies, review of final <br />design criteria, first duri'lJ feasibility and later during final design of the <br />Master Plan for the Citanduy Basin Development. The project includes flood <br />control facilities, irrigation and drainage facilities, tidal control and recla- <br />mation of brackish swampland for rice production and potential hydropower <br />developments. <br /> <br />Central Luzon Project, Philippines. Responsible for conceptual planning and <br />review of the comprehensive basin plan of optimizing development of land and <br />water resources in the 18,000 square kilometer area. The project includes <br />flood control, irrigation, drainage, hydropower, and land reclamation. <br />Major project features include twelve potential dam sites and irrigation service <br />for 9,000 square kilometers. Responsibilities in- <br />cluded selection of four dam sites, determini'lJ reservoir yields compatible <br />with existi'lJ water rights and inter-state agreements, dam types, heights <br />and layouts, extensive sediment analyses, and water yield-cost relation- <br />ships.
