<br />In 1938 an allocation of $2,000,000 for construction was made' available from
<br />the approprtation of $965,000,000 for Public Works Administration projects
<br />contained in the appropriation act of June 21, 1938, 52 Stat., 809. This
<br />allocation was later reduced to $l,L~O,OOO."

<br />"The following sums are appropriated out of the special fund in the Treasury
<br />of the United States created by the Act of June 17, 1902 (43 U. s. C. 391, 411),
<br />and therein designated "the reclamation fund", to be available :i.mmediately:

<br />Ccnstruction: For commencement and continuation of construction of the
<br />following projects in not to exceed the following; amounts, respectively, to
<br />be expended from the Reclamation Fund under the same general condition., and
<br />in the same manner and for the same objects of expenditure as specified for
<br />projects hereinbefore in this Act under the caption "Bureau of Reclamation",
<br />to be reimbursable under the reclamation law, and to remain available until
<br />expended:
