(This condition is necessary to prevent disruption <br />of prairie falcon nests.) <br /> <br />~gogltlQO_~Q~~: No disturbance in the area of golden eagle <br />nests from March 1 to July 1. The know nests are in the <br />vicinity of the Yampa River Pipeline. Sheephorn Reservoir <br />and the Green Mountain Tunnel. The precise nesting locations <br />and restricted areas shall De obtained from the Colorado <br />Division of ~ildlife. <br /> <br />~gDglilQQ_~Q1_2: No disturbance in the golden eagle wintering <br />area from November 15 of one year to March 15th of the next <br />year. This wintering area is located at the Rock Creek <br />Reservoir and tunnel site. <br /> <br />~QnglilQo_~Q~~: No disturbance in the bald eagle wintering <br />area from November 15th of any year to April 1st of the fol- <br />lowing year. The bald eagle wintering area is located at <br />the Sheephorn Reservoir and ROCk Creek Tunnel site. The pre- <br />cise location of the wintering area may be obtained from <br />the Colorado Division of Wildlife. <br /> <br />~Qo~lilQo_~~-1: No mechanized field work or blasting in <br />the Sharp-tailed grouse wintering area from NovemOer 15th <br />of any year until May 15th of the following year. The <br />sharp-tailed grouse wintering area in question is located <br />in the vicinity of Yampa Reservoir. The precise location <br />of the wintering area may be obtained from the ColoradO Divi- <br />sion of kildlife. ' <br /> <br />AOOII~AL-faolf~IlY~~Olll~ <br /> <br />~ithout an environmental assessment it is impossible <br />to determine the full range of environmental impacts of the <br />prel i~inary permit studies. To minimize other adverse impacts <br />from the proposed studies the following conditions should <br />also be imposed on any preliminary work permit issued to <br />applicants. <br /> <br />~QD~ltiQO_~~~: The cutting of trees and brush shall be <br />mini~ized to the extent possible consistent with the data <br />gathering activities. <br /> <br />~QagltlQD_~Q~_~: <br /> <br />No temporary access roads shall be built <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />0967 <br />
