the Pathfinder Irrigation District in regular session assembled do
hereby authorize the Treasurer of the Distri~t to cancel the oper-
a.tion and maintenance charges which have accumulr.ted egainst the la.nds
being sold bY the Counties during the year covered by the tnx: sale

In the a.clministration of the w^.ters of the North Platte River,
it is necessary to have daily and accurate, guage readings on the river,
so that waters may be delivered at certain points on the river at stated
definite times. . The gre~ter portbns of these guages are located in the
state of Wyoming, but Wyoming claims that they have insufficient funds to
employ a river rider to read the gua.ges so the Government projects have
in the past contributed a certain portion t~ have this duty perf~rmed, and
a request has ag~in been made this ye .r for funds to carry ~n this work.
The following resolution was offered by Director Janssen, who moved its
adoption.

District hereby requests Mr. C. F. Gleeson to make the usual contribution
to the State of ~oming for the purpose of securing the d~ily guage heights
and stream measurements of the North Pl,::tte River.

Mr. C. F. Gleason, Superintendent of Power of the Bureau of Recla-
mation, took up with the Board the advisll.bility of making certain changes
in the eleatrical rates adopted for the sale of electrical power for pump-
ing purposes, and after discussing this TIlth the Board, the following reso-
lution was offered.

sale of energy for irrigation JlUIIlping.

It has been the policy of the District to adjust delinquent oper-
ation and maintenance charges which h'lve acc~~lated against the lands
when the lands hLve changed ownership, The Board has felt th.ct this was
a business like policy, if by this method the lands could be ngain put in
