<br />Therefore Be It resolved: That the President of the Board of
<br />Directors be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Pathfinder Irrig-
<br />ation District, an agreement, between the uepp.rtment of Roads and
<br />Irrig~tion of the State of Nebraska, party of the first part, and the
<br />City of Bafard, Allianoe Irrig,tion District, F~rmers Irrigl~ion
<br />Distriot and the Pathfinder Irrigation District as parties of the
<br />seoond part, under the terms of whioh, the Dept.rtment of Rop-ds and
<br />Irrig~tion of the State of Nebraska will, at its own expense, remove
<br />the above described orossing over the said nild Horse Drainage ohannel,
<br />and oonstruot and maintsin a bridge in its stead.

<br />And further, that the responsibility or liability for any damage
<br />that may oocur beoause of the presence of suoh bridge shall be and re-
<br />mn.ln as it is now fixed by law or contrllOt.

<br />The Board of Dire~tors are required to sit as a board of cqua1-
<br />izntion eaoh year to hear and oonsider suoh requests. as are cade for
<br />ohange in Classification, The Board was in session for four days dur-
<br />ing the year, and only one request that could be acted upon was made
<br />for ohange in cla.ssification. This was referred to the oommittee and
<br />upon investigr~ion and recommendation of the Committee, the'Southwest
<br />quarter of the Northeast quarter of Seotion 27, Township 24, R,~,nge 57
<br />lYSS changed from class one to class two.,

<br />In order to continue the rrork of concrete lining of laterals b.Y
<br />C. C. C. force, the Pathfinder Irrigation District is required to purchase
<br />a certain amount of material as it is needed, ~tid during the year, the
<br />District furnished four car loads of cement and 50,000 pounds of rein-,
<br />forcing steel to be used in improving the ditches of the Pathfinder
<br />Irrigation District.

<br />Two requests were made during the year for the purchase of stored
<br />water. The Bo~d felt th~t there would not be sufficient water for the'
<br />use of the water users under the project, and both re~ests were denied,
<br />The same requests were made'to the bocrds of Directors i~ other Distriots
<br />of the North Platte Project, and n general meeting was hehl, of all the
<br />Boards of Directors of the four districts under the Project; and it wns
<br />unamimous1t agreed that no water would be sold.

<br />A tax sale of lands lying within the boundcries :'Jf the Pathfinder
<br />Irrigction Distriot was held b.Y the Commissioners of Sioux County, and
<br />the question then presented itself as to what disposition should be made
<br />of the acoumulated operation and rnaint.,nance charges of the P~,thfinder
<br />Irrigation Distriot which 'iiere not pl:'.ced on the County Records. This
<br />matter was referred to the Attorney for the District rund upon :'.dvice of
<br />the attorney, the following resolution w:'.s udopted.

<br />'of the units, which are not spread upon the County tax rolls, and there-
<br />fore, ~re not being disposed of by these tXK sales.
