Electrical engineering will consist of the estimation of building and site power
and control requirements, power distribution facility needs, and power-service
to the site,

9. Mechanical engineering services will consist of estimation of costs for
mechanical equipment and mechanical equipment selection assistance to the
hatchery design team,

10. Once the above activities are completed, bills of quantities will be developed.
These will categorize the materials of construction and installed equipment.
Quantities will be developed and unit prices applied in order to generate
estimated costs of construction. These estimates, one for each site for the
selected scenario, will form the basis for the conceptual-level estimates. For
these estimates, quantities will be scaled, based upon the different sizes or
capacities of the other scenarios, and the previously derived unit costs will be
applied, The estimates of cost so C1erived will permit a direct comparison of the
relative construction C05tS of each scenario at each of the three sites. If the
CWCB desires, the construction costs could be extended to include overhead,
engineering, and contingency COSts in order to determine the overall estimated
costs of hatchery development,

W or k Products:

For the Scenario 2 site:

1.
