<br />~ . . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(d) To call special meetings of the Board of Directors. <br /> <br />(e) To direct the Secretary-Engineer and Attorney for the <br />District to perform such duties and functions as may be <br />deemed necessary for the carrying on of the business and <br />affairs of the District, until the next regular or <br />special meeting of the Board of Directors. <br /> <br />SECTION 7 - Meetings of the Executive Committee. <br /> <br />Meetings of the Executive Committee shall be at such times and <br />at such places as shall be determined by the President or by the <br />Executive Committee. A meeting of the Executive Committee may be <br />called to be held at the office of the District upon request of: <br /> <br />(A) THE PRESIDENT, <br /> <br />(B) Two members of the Executive Committee, <br />or <br /> <br />(C) The Secretary and Attorney for the District. <br /> <br />SECTION 8 - Notice of Meetings of Executive Committee. <br /> <br />Not less than 48 hours written notice by mail adequate <br />notice written or by telephone to the Board of Directors of <br />meetings of the Executive Committee shall be given, Provided: That <br />a meeting of said Executive Committee may be held at any time with <br />less than 48 hours written notice thereof if (a) all members of <br />said Executive Committee shall be present, or (b), all members of <br />the Executive Committee shall sign or otherwise approve the minutes <br />of said meeting. <br /> <br />SECTION 9 - Minutes of Meetings of Executive Committee. <br /> <br />The Secretary of the Board of Directors and of the District <br />shall attend all meetings of the Executive Committee, and shall <br />keep accurate minutes thereof. Such minutes shall be read and <br />acted upon by the Board of Directors at its next regular meeting. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VIII - SPECIAL COMMITTEES <br /> <br />Upon motion or resolution adopted at any meeting of the Board <br />of Directors, regular or special, a special committee or special <br />committees may be created or provided for. The number of members <br />of such committees, and those who shall serve thereon, shall, <br />unless specifically provided in the motion or resolution creating <br />the same, be determined and appointed by the President.
