<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 - Vacancies on the Board of Directors. <br /> <br />Provision is made in Chapter 149-8-4, Colorado Revised <br />statutes 1953, for the existence of vacancies upon the Board of <br />Directors, and the filling of such vacancies by the County <br />Commissioners of the counties from which said members are <br />appointed. In order to facilitate the filling of any such vacancy, <br />in the event a vacancy shall occur, in the manner as defined in <br />said Act, the fact that the vacancy shall occur, in the manner as <br />defined in said Act, the fact that the vacancy exists shall be <br />brought to the attention of the Board of County commissioners <br />wherein such vacancy exists promptly, by the President of the <br />District, and the President shall request of such Board of County <br />Commissioners that said vacancy be filled at its next meeting. <br /> <br />ARTICLE III - POWERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> <br />The Board of Directors shall have all of the powers granted <br />it by the Colorado River Water conservation District Act; and said <br />Board shall have such ancillary and incidental powers as may be <br />proper, necessary or convenient for the full effectuation of the <br />purposes, powers and objectives of the District. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV - MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />SECTION 1 - Regular Meetings. <br /> <br />Regular meetings of the Board of Directors shall be held as <br />required in and by the Colorado River Water Conservation District <br />Act, the same being on the third Tuesday in the months of January, <br />April, July and October of each year. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 - Special Meetings. <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Board of Directors may be held at any <br />time upon call of the President or of any three members of the <br />Board of Directors, or by a majority vote of the Executive <br />Committee. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 - Place of Meetings. <br /> <br />Unless otherwise determined by a majority vote of the Board <br />of Directors, the city of Glenwood Springs, in Garfield County, <br />Colorado, is hereby designated as the place where the principal <br />office of the District shall be maintained.
