This chapter will provide a description of the municipal water requirements, water supply available, a list of water rights, and information on water quality. , ) 6. Chapter y = Plan of Development. In this section the Preliminary Design of the proposed improvements will be presented. We will show a layout of the proposed reservoir site and design details. Since this is a new reservoir, we will also present information on' alternative sites that have been investigated (if not done in Chapter III). All information available on geological investigations will be_included. (Aqditional backhoe pits are needed.) Laboratory tests of the soils to verify the structural stability Of the embankments are also recommended; a narrative report from Lincoln-DeVore is also suggested based on their test holes. It would also be helptul to have Air Photos prepare a contour map with contours of 1 to 2 ft. elevation to assure more accuracy tor the preliminary design since it will be needed lat~r for final design. (It may not be need~d for preliminary design since the site is relatively flat; we c~uld take some elevation'shots to get an approximate id~a of the slope if funds are limited.:.) 7. Chapter VI = Estimated Cost. Cost estimates for the proje~t will be developed and will be included in this chapter. Also included will be any engineering costs for final design and ~esident engineering. 8. Chapter VII, Proiect Evaluation and Chapter VIII. Financial Proqram. These two chapters will be combined together and will summarize proposed construction costs and the repayment schedule. Included in the repayment schedule will be a summary of the payments covering any other debts owed by the Commission, operation and maintenance costs, and contributions to Emergency Operating Fund.
