Eggar Ditch for later irrigation use on fields north of the Eggar
Ranch. It was abandoned due to heavy silting and a mud problem.

All of the reservoirs on Rapid Creek fit into the category of being
non-jurisdictional, i.e., their storage volume, surface area and
embankment height are too small to require administration by the
State Engineer's Office. Cabin Creek Reservoir is definitely a
jurisdictiOnal reservoir.

b. Springs. Palisade has developed approximately 26 springs in the
Rapid Creek and Cottonwood Creek drainages (including Kruzen
Springs, which originally flowed into Sink Creek adjacent to
Cottonwood Creek drainage). The majority of the springs are
located in the Rapid Creek drainage and can be grouped into three
areas: Upper Rapid Creek, Middle Rapid Creek, and Lower Rapid
