<br />~ <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Task 4 - Chapter II; The City <br />A brief history of the City of Greeley shall be compHed outlining the laws <br />under which it is organized, its po,rers and authority, .financial status and <br />physical assets. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Chapter III, Land <br />The possibility of exchanging water fights between the City and local irriga- <br />tion companies shaH be explored to the fullest. Such exchanges might be <br />beneficial to the City, and to the overall development of agricultural land in <br />the region. Any additional benefits to local irrigation districts shall be <br />described in detail. <br /> <br />Task 6 - Chapter IV, Water <br />The Ml<E Project Team shall make an analysis of the City's present municipal <br />and industrial water requirements including peak hourly, daHy, weekly and <br />monthly uses and the contribution of the three reservoirs covered by the stUdy <br />toward meeting the City's ,water requirements. The analysis shall include <br />shrinkage allowances from point of diversion to point of de1fvery, exchanges <br />with other entities, and shall develop monthly water storage and release <br />requirements for the reservoirs. <br /> <br />An analysis of the water rights affecting each of the three reservoirs shall <br />be made including a list of effective water rights and penuits, and dates of <br />priority. The effects of the water rights on the availabi1fty of water supply <br />for the project, both present and fut~re, shall be discussed. The possibility <br />of tranSferring water rights from one reservoir to another shall be fully <br />explored as will be the possibilit1 of losing water rights in the event <br />transfers did occur. <br /> <br />A most probable yield in acre-feet shall be developed for each reservoir and <br />for a combination of the three reserVOirs. The yield for each reservoir shall <br />be estimated for present restricted operating conditions and for the full <br />potential condition including possible enlargements.
